VIRTUAL DESIGN SERVICE
Looking for some design advice to kickstart your project, or brainstorm some of the design ideas you’ve been mulling over but need help sorting through?
The Virtual Design Work Session is for you!
If you love being involved in the design but need some guidance along the way, our Virtual Design services may be just your thing! We’ll take care of the creative vision, and you take care of sourcing and implementing. We’ll arm you with a dimensioned furniture floor plan and a mood board so you know exactly what to shop for. If you need help sorting through your findings after you’ve gone shopping, you can setup a Virtual Work Session with us to review and help you finalize the pieces that you found, or even hire us to do your final fabric and finishes edit once you’ve decided on the final furniture pieces - before you make your purchase.
Click on the services below to learn more about how we can help you with your design project.
Do you have a room that you dread walking into, or that has never really been given much design thought? A guest room that is doing double duty as a home office, but doesn’t do a great job of either? Use this design session to kickstart your design project, sort through your design options, or gather up all of your design dilemmas and use us as a sounding board.

Virtual Design Work Session
A brainstorming design session to help you with your design dilemmas.
Armed with a floor plan and mood board, but overwhelmed by all the possibilities when it comes to color and material selections? What exact color and texture should the sofa really be? Cream, taupe or warm grey? What about the lounge chairs and area rug? And the wood tones? Should the window treatments be a pattern, or will that conflict with the patterns on the rug and pillows? So many decisions! We’ll sort through them for you!
Here’s how it works:
Once you have gone shopping for your furniture pieces and decided on all the items you woud like for your room, send us all of your samples* (upholstery fabrics, wood samples, pillow and rug options, etc…).
We’ll put together the final edited scheme for you so you can purchase with confidence, knowing your final selections will look great together.
What you will receive:
If you live locally to Chicago, you can schedule a 30 minute meeting with us at our showroom to review the final selections. If you live elsewhere, we’ll schedule a Zoom call to review the selections and then ship the sample packet back to you.
We’ll also throw in some wallcovering, paint color options and window treatment samples for you too.
1 revision is included*
Color & Material Editing
We’ll help you refine the final furniture material and finishes BEFORE you purchase your furniture.

If you are armed with a floor plan but not sure what the furniture should look like, we can set the scene for your new space by creating a Mood Board. While the Furniture Layout will show you the items that you will need to purchase, the Mood Board will serve as a style guide for what these items should look like.
What you will get:
A Mood Board in PDF format with all of the items shown on your Furniture Layout including rugs, side tables, lamps, window treatment style direction etc… The Mood Board will convey the general color palette for the room.
1 revision is included
Please Note:
This session is an add-on to our Furniture Layout. Why? Because we’d like to be as specific as possible with the items we are selecting. If your living room has a corner sectional plus a large scaled side chair and ottoman, versus two sofas facing each other, it makes ALL the difference to the furniture items that we select.
Mood Board - add on
Setting the tone for the overall aesthetic of your home. Think of it as your style guide.
NOT SURE WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU?
Please fill out this questionnaire to tell us more about your project, so we can help steer you to the right package:
