Completed Furniture Layout questionnaire
Not comfortable taking your own measurements?
If you live in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, we can come to your home to take the measurements for you. Please select this service from the drop down as an add-on to the furniture layout.
It’s important for us to know as much as possible about how the room we are laying out will be used. For example, a home that has only one living room is doing double duty as a family room, so the furniture layout will need to be oriented differently to the way it would be for a formal living room that is used for entertaining guests where the TV is not the main focus of the room.
* 1 Bedoom, 2 Bedoom and 3 Bedroom condo furniture layout based on open plan living space (eg. family room + casual meals OR living room + dining room). Please add on additional rooms as needed if you have more than one living area you need laid out.

Mood Board
These set the tone for the overall aesthetic of your home. Think of it as your shopping style guide.
If you are armed with a floor plan but not sure what the furniture should look like, we can set the scene for your new space by creating a Mood Board. While the Furniture Layout will show you the items that you will need to purchase, the Mood Board will serve as a style guide for what these items should look like.
What you will get:
A Mood Board in PDF format with all of the items shown on your Furniture Layout including rugs, side tables, lamps, window treatment style direction etc… The Mood Board will convey the general color palette for the room.
1 revision is included
Please Note:
This session is an add-on to our Furniture Layout. Why? Because we’d like to be as specific as possible with the items we are selecting. If your living room has a corner sectional plus a large scaled side chair and ottoman, versus two sofas facing each other, it makes ALL the difference to the furniture items that we select.
Color & Material Edit
We’ll refine your final furniture colors & materials BEFORE you purchase your furniture.
Armed with a floor plan and mood board, but overwhelmed by all the possibilities when it comes to color and material selections? What exact color and texture should the sofa really be? Cream, taupe or warm grey? What about the lounge chairs and area rug? And the wood tones? Should the window treatments be a pattern, or will that conflict with the patterns on the rug and pillows? So many decisions! We’ll sort through them for you!
Here’s how it works:
Once you have gone shopping for your furniture pieces and decided on all the items you woud like for your room, send us all of your samples* (upholstery fabrics, wood samples, pillow and rug options, etc…).
We’ll put together the final edited scheme for you so you can purchase with confidence, knowing your final selections will look great together.
What you will receive:
If you live locally to Chicago, you can schedule a 30 minute meeting with us at our showroom to review the final selections. If you live elsewhere, we’ll schedule a Zoom call to review the selections and then ship the sample packet back to you.
We’ll also throw in some wallcovering, paint color options and window treatment samples for you too.
1 revision is included*
