ROMAN SHADES
Urban Source can create Roman Shades in a variety of styles and a myriad of fabrics. From shimmery sheers to blackout shades with fun geometric patterns to calming textures and weaves.
All of our Roman shades are made to order, and are available with or without a front valance and contrasting banding or trim. They can be operated in a variety of ways (cord lock, cordless, clutch or motorized)
Relaxed Roman
The perfect Roman for softer fabrics in a transitional setting. Can be made with or without a valance and works best with solid fabrics.
Flat Roman
The Flat Roman is the simplest Roman Shade style available. It allows the fabric to shine and creates clean folds when lifted. Best for modern homes and patterned fabrics.
Step Roman
This Roman Shade is full-bodied and maintains a soft fold even when fully lowered. It is best in transitional to traditional interiors and works well with non-sheer fabrics.
Knife Pleat
This style of shade is similar to the Flat Roman but has the ribs sewn into either hidden or exposed pockets which creates a decorative horizontal line at regular intervals.
