Jennifer Rossignuolo

Jennifer Rossignuolo

Co-Founder and Owner

Jenny’s budding career in interior design developed early. After graduating at the top of her class in Melbourne, Australia, she spent four years in residential design, including two years as a designer of high-end modern custom kitchens for Domus Kitchens. Praise for her work ranged from profiles in design publications to a prestigious design award given by her peers.

Having caught the travel bug that she couldn’t seem to shake off, Jenny decided to move to London in 1998. From there she explored Europe’s rich cultures, histories and architecture while gaining international experience in both commercial and residential design. But no sooner had she left Australia that she met her husband at a train station in Verona. A whirlwind long distance romance ensued before Jenny relocated to Chicago in 2000, her husband’s hometown.

Jenny’s personal design style is vibrant, modern and edgy, though she welcomes the challenge to stray beyond her personal style and enjoys working on projects that lean more transitional and eclectic. She believes that great design should be a collaboration between the client and designer and that the end result should reflect the homeowner’s sense of style. In early 2011, Jenny began the long process of launching a new line of architecturally-inspired bags called Mooya. The bags are available online at, as well as at Urban Source and other specialty retailers.

When not at work, Jenny loves hanging out with her husband and dogs Prince and Albie, going for long walks through Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods, honing her painting and sewing skills, cooking, dining out and traveling. She also hopes to find the time to write a novel about her storybook romance!

Anne Hurley

Anne Hurley

Showroom Manager

Since joining our team in 2013, Anne has become our showroom powerhouse. Whether you’re looking for an obscure pattern, need expedited shipping, or have a complicated order- Anne handles every situation with a smile and easy sense of humor. We’re pretty sure that there is literally nothing she can’t handle! This probably has something to do with the fact that she’s on a first name basis with all of our wallpaper and fabric vendors.

Add to that her impressive administrative skills, impeccable memory, and always-on-an-even-keel personality. When Anne isn’t running the showroom, she loves to travel. She has taken adventurous trips across the US, exploring and hiking in the national parks of the West Coast. She also finds lots to do right here in Chicago, including spending quality time with her partner, and dining with family, friends, and a good bottle of wine. We also love Anne for her big heart, especially the soft spot she has for anything with four legs, including (of course!) her cat, Zeke.

April Noga

April Noga

Design, Curating, and Marketing

April is our Showroom Designer. She is available for meetings in our showroom or for more in depth design consultations. Her passion is working with patterns and texture, which is perfect because she also curates the wallpaper and fabrics that we have on our showroom floor.

April especially loves working with our independent studios. Having graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor in Fine Arts, she works in both the art world and the design industry. This makes her fluent in the design processes and the craftsmanship of our products. She recently launched her own independent design studio, Prillamena, which features hand drawn patterns on interior fabrics.

April also handles our marketing and social media which includes our blog posts, newsletters, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest pages.

When she’s not at Urban Source, April spends her time making art which she regularly shows in galleries and performance spaces. Immersed in the Chicago art community, she also curates bi-monthly art events and teaches workshops.

Elizabeth Eigenbauer

Elizabeth Eigenbauer

Interior Designer

Elizabeth joined us in 2001, shortly after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Harrington College. Since then, she has tackled many roles from intern, showroom design consultant, window treatment specialist, to interior designer. Currently, her main role is in the office where she works with Jenny on residential and commercial design projects.

Space planning, furniture schemes, and presentation documents are Elizabeth’s forte. She also enjoys putting together finish schemes — working with different colors, textures, and patterns. Projects have ranged from transitional to modern, but as far as her own style, she’s drawn to the mid-century modern aesthetic.

After work, she loves time at home with her adorable rabbit Mr. Bubbles; as well as cooking, listening to music, or doing arts & crafts. Every chance she gets, she appreciates time with family and friends; and taking road trips to explore the great outdoors, new cities, breweries, and restaurants

Amy Ellingson

Amy Ellingson

Design Consultant

Amy is the newest member of the Urban Source team (lucky US!). As Design Consultant in window treatments and soft furnishings, she helps clients with wallpaper, drapery, and upholstery projects as well as in-home design consultations.

She loves participating in a project as it progresses from idea to reality – especially when she sees how happy that makes her clients. “It’s extremely rewarding to give a room, a piece of furniture, or even just a wall, a fresh look that improves the way my clients experience their day-to-day lives.”

Prior to joining Urban Source, Amy opened the Marc Jacobs store in Chicago in 2010 where she worked for almost eight years, including four as store manager. It was there that her love of textiles — a perfect fit for interior design — was developed. That appreciation and knowledge of soft furnishing goods, coupled with the skills to translate a client’s vision into something uniquely theirs, makes Amy a valuable addition to our team.

She tackles each project with warmth, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a lighthearted spirit.
Her goal is for every client to leave Urban Source with a smile. Amy received a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa. When she’s not busy making customers happy, she enjoys cooking, yoga, riding her bike, documentary film, and travel.
